“The Queen Anne-style structure, which lost its upper floors in 2009 due to safety concerns, has been rebuilt by Danois Architects and Artimus Construction, with the Landmark Preservation Commission signing off and ensuring that the new structure is largely faithful to the historic former design. (As you can see from an old rendering, the design is much better than the one the developers first proposed.) The building is now looking to fill its retail and commercial space.” –Curbed NY
